Magazine envelopes & accessory packs

I love to re-purpose beautiful, sturdy magazine pages into envelopes. Any type of paper including used paper bags, I will turn into an envelope. People who follow me on Instagram @envelopesbymo know of my love affair with this hobby. 

I believe that magazines, paper bags and publications that have beautiful paper and imagery, should not be sitting on the book shelf collecting dust when they can be re-used into an envelope. Do you remember the excitement of receiving a handwritten letter? I am committed to re-connecting people to that feeling by creating magazine envelopes that inspire people to post or give someone a hand written letter or note or perhaps start a beautiful on-going friendship through snail-mail with someone from another country. 

What originally started as a fundraiser for my daughter's trip to Canberra, with intentions of only selling a few handmade envelopes to friends and family, has re-connected me to a passion of envelope making that I had when I was a teenager. Actually as far back as I can remember I've had a real fascination with anything paper - especially brand new journals, old diaries, scrapbooks..the list goes on. 

To date I have made over 300 magazine and paper bag envelopes and it's time to let these creations go to people in the world who love paper, envelopes, snail-mail, journalling, as much as me. 

Each pack includes: 5 handmade magazine or used paper bag envelopes, 10+ accessories to assist in creating your snail-mail art all wrapped in twine and packaged in cellophane for extra postal protection. The photo's I have shared are examples of what the final product may look like and what's included to give you an idea of what you will receive, however each pack will have different envelopes and accessories. 

You can choose one 'envelope type' you'd like me to consider so I can customise your envelope and accessory package to what you like as much as possible.

Standard postage costs in Australia is $2.00AU and standard international postage is $8.00AU added at checkout. I will post out each purchased package weekly on Thursday from Perth, Western Australia. 

If you'd like me to send a package to someone else as a gift, at your request I will add a notecard or tag with a handwritten message and post it to that special person on your behalf at no extra charge. Just email me at envedelight@mail.com with your message and I will organise the rest.
